UFA – Beef Talk

Brian Palichuk, P.Ag
Brian received his BSc in Agriculture from the University of Alberta with a specialization in Animal Science and a minor in Agriculture Economics. Growing up on a mixed farm, he started his career with Alberta Agriculture as a District Agriculturist in Northern Alberta. His career continued with the department as a Livestock DA and then as a Beef Specialist in southeastern Alberta.

Brian started with UFA in 1996 as a Technical Rep. Not long after he began working with the Livestock Department of UFA. Brian was one of the key members responsible for the development of the Prostock brand of feed at UFA.

Not one to stray far from ranching, Brian and his family operate a beef cattle operation in southeastern Alberta while working as a UFA Livestock Production Specialist. He has been called on to make numerous presentations on livestock production and equine related topics in the province.
